Karl is a professional musician and teacher based in Sudbury, Suffolk. Offering Guitar lessons, Bass lessons and music theory tuition.
Karl has a great passion for music education and hold qualified teacher status (QTLS) and is the only fully qualified teacher providing guitar lessons in the Sudbury and Great Cornard area.
As an educator Karl has taught across counties in Suffolk, Essex and London. Currently offering full 1-1 lessons: , Horringer Court Middle, Suffolk One College, Westley Middle School , Holbrook Academy and Bury County Upper School. And music theory classes for musical theatre students on the Foundation course at the wonderful The CTC Foundation Collage.
In addition to teaching private lessons from a purpose built teaching studio located in the heart of Great Cornard and Sudbury, Suffolk.
As a player Karl is often playing live touring across the UK with top functions bands from The Hot Shots and Happy Hour from top agency Alive network. Theatre tribute shows for Veritas Entertainment such as: Delightfully Dusty, Disco Inferno Walk Like A Man and ABBA show MY, MY.
Karl also regularly in in the pit for local theatre productions at the Ipswich Regent Cambridge Arts Theatre, The Apex, Bury and Spa Pavilion. As a result Karl has enjoyed stage time in venues and for events such as: Sky Q launch event, HMV Picture House Edinburgh, Snape Malting concert hall, Ipswich Regent Theatre, Beachbreak & Great Escape Festivals, Indig02 as well as featuring on BBC radio.
QUALIFICATIONS
Karl is a full member of the Institute for Learning (IFL) and the Registry of Guitar Tutors (RGT) and holds a current enhance disclosure CRB/DBS and NSPCC Child Protection Certificate.
